Sorry guys I know there is a lot of threads on this and I did search but didn't find the answer.

I bought my 02 used and it has heli bars. With the stock screen if I stick my chin up in the air it is very quiet. If I start to slump it gets noisy buffeting hits me under the chin:frusty: . I'm 5'11" and have a 31" inseam.

My question is are the helis working well with the stock screen? Are the bars lifting me and the screen is a little short so I have to stretch up to miss the wind? If I add the double bubble will it start to send the wind into my helmet? No sure what to do add it or don't. I've added screens to 2 other bikes and really didn't like them.

    Help,

    Joe

If you decide you want to change back to stock bars let me know. I'm in need of some Helibars cuz i'm like a midget. We can work a deal.

I recently bought a used '03 that came with heli bars and a Zero Gravity double bubble high screen. I'm 5'11 31" inseam as well and I did not like the buffeting of the double bubble high screen.

I put a stock screen on it and found that it was much quieter (for me) overall.

    thank you doug

That is the exact information I was looking for. I had that feeling if the screen was higher the wind would start to hit me in the head. Right now mostly in the shoulders. When I dip my head down I get the buffeting.

Thanks for the information. I'm glad our sizes are the same!!
