I am in the process of installing heli bars on my 06 VFR800. Trouble is I can.t get the oem bars over the fork tubes after completely taking out the pinch bolt. What do I need to do? Any help would be appreciated.
There should be a lock ring (clip) at the top of the tube that needs to be removed. You can also lightly tap a wood wedge into the gap if there is till too much grip.
