Heil bar installation

Does anyone have good step by step instruction on Helibar installation on the 6th Gen.

 

Heil bar!?! is that some new product from germany or something?

 

there is one around here somewhere. i used it when i installed mine but can't find it for the life of me. i'm sure if you rooted around enough you could fine it though.

Also highly suggest skidmax4x4's comments about half way through the above string on how to remove the handlebar weights. That, for me, was the only difficult part of the operation.

Just bought 2008 vfr and want to purchase heli bars. Anyone know if their is a group sale going on right now. I've seen a couple a year ago that stated if you have 5 or more members you can get the set for $220. Thanks for the installation instructions Karazy

 

Not sure if there are any group buys going on...you could always start one and save some money.

I would recommend you contact Melanie and Ken Naef at Naef Cycle (contact line below). I know they were involved in a couple fo group buys from here and VFRD and are top notch folks to work with. I was a few weeks late for a group buy and they still gave me a good deal (not as good as the group but cheaper than I could find anywhere else). Just mention you are from this site and were referred by people here.
