Hi anyone know why my 83 750f has a heavy feel to it. I got a 84 1000f this year and the differance between the is night and day. They both have the same new fork springs, weight of fork and amount of fluid, new steering stem bearings, same tire and size. I never felt the 83 was odd before riding them back to back. Is the rake or some front end differance in one year. Thanks for your help Pat

Does the 84 have the crossover air tube and schrader valve on the forks too? Those things can leak out the air and feel very dead--an unnecessarily complicated and useless gimmicky design to me...

Not to point oot the obvious but is the tire pressure correct? The first gens seem to be more sensitive to low tire pressure than the later model gens and heavy steering is the result.

Tire pressure good, air in forks at 3psi both have new racetech springs with same rate. Both have new steering stem bearings same brand new fork dust and oil seals same fork oil. Both have jamies daughtlry rear shocks. I would have thought the 84 would feel heavier as it weighs a bit more. I got the 1000f over the winter, so i never had something to compare too. Thanks for your help, i will check to see if steering stem is tightened this weekend. Thanks
