I have Symtec's on my V-Strom and will probably put a set on my VFR. For $30 it's hard to beat them.

I put on a set of Hot Grips. Easy to install, cost about $100.
The grips are larger than stock, and fill my hands better = more comfort.
They are available with a variable control, but I went with the three position High-Off-Low switch. To me, they make a world of difference at 40 degrees.
    They do get hot.

As soon as the Old Lady lets me spend some money I intend on installing some Hondaline grips from a ST. Found them on a British website. Guess us Americans don't buy so many heated grips. It got a cool digital display. Says it takes a special wiring harness to hook to an ST. I'm sure my multimeter and I can figure something out. This will be way more trick than those heaters with the dial control.

I got a set of the Honda Factory heated grips with some other forum members about a month back.

Thursday was beautiful during the day between DC and Baltimore, but the 80 mile trip back home from my son's soccer (football for the rest of you) match was a wee bit nipply. Temps. started at 57 F. and dipped to 44 F before I got home. The grips were great... and I used the "frying bacon" setting to good effect.

If you search, you'll find the info on the grips, costs etc...

The one I saw was a LCD display with buttons that would have to mount on the grey inner fairing. The flat spot just under your handle bars on either side. Just have to cut a square hole and hope I don't jack my harness up too much. Would look very intergrated.
