Ever heard of D&D exhaust? Was looking for a highmount and came across this for $200. It's off a 90 VFR. Is it mountable on other high mount pipes I wonder?

D&D was very popular at least here in the states. No personal experience with this brand, but I assume that it is lighter and louder than stock, and would probably fit your model year. they may still have fitment information somewhere online.

As was said, it's a big name here in the US. It will be much lighter and louder than stock. You'll hear that V4 talking!!

    Yep.

Used a set of D&D slip-ons on my Ducati 900SS. As previously stated they are most definitely much louder than stock pipes. When the motor comes up on the cams those D&D's absolutely sing! Brought a $hit eatin' grin to my face every time I made an enthusiastic romp up through the gears.
Gotta imagine they would make every bit as sweet engine music with a V4 engine as they do with an L-twin.

They make exhausts for metric and standard cruisers, triumph, and dirt bikes. Kind of fallen off the map.

D+D, on at least one forum I frequent, is said to stand for Deaf, and Deafer. They kind of had the reputation of being cheap, and loud.

I knew a couple of guys that had them. Seemed like an ok product to me. If your catalic converter is still on the header pipes, l'd say you'll be just fine. It just doesnt take a lot of muffling, to keep a VFR tolerably quiet.

Unless he has a California spec, it's not likely to be equipped with a catalytic converter pre 2000.

Before you buy, be sure to check that the pipe size is correct.

D&D is by far the loudest pipe on the market. I wonder if those things have anything inside the canister. They are loud AF

They certainly sound bad ass in the videos I saw. Not worth $200 imo though. Thanks. Will keep looking for a high mount.

I don't know about other bikes with D&D but I know for a fact they were the biggest piece of shit you could put on Yamaha RD's. Yeah they sounded bad ass but they were very poorly designed for performance. Stock pipes were much better and quality pipes were a LOT better.
