headlights

    Has any one been sucsesful in rewireing the headlights so that the H4 bulbs work on hi beam?

    I actually did this mod myself about a month ago and I absolutely love it. When I switch to high beams, people go blind now!

    You don't need all those fancy BMW parts (you probably won't have any luck getting most of them anyways). All I got was the BMW 5-pole (green) relay. Then I brought a bunch of generic female and male connectors. You can use a regular female connector to hook up to the H-4 bulbs; you'll just need to use a screwdriver to make the connector bigger (the blades on the H-4 are big). I also recommend using silcon wiring tape to wrap everything when you're done (makes a good water-proof seal).

    H-4 High Beam

    I'm a little confused here. All four of my lights have always lit on high beam?

    have you noticed that it's really easy to reply to old messages with the way the ayout is? I have caught myself trying to reply to messages written over a year ago. As far as headlights go, I was thinking of adding the (what is it called oscillator?) so that I am more visible. I just want people to see me without having to wear CaDOT Orange jumpers. You'd think fire engine red would show up but still people pull out in front of me...
