I replaced the stock bulbs for the sylvania silverstars.
I searched here but did not find a DIY with pics.
    So here are some...

    The before pic...

Pull on the sides of the switch to unplug.

Remove the rubber cover and then remove the clip.

remove the bulb and then install the new one.
With the sylvania, bend out the bottom tabs to make it fit.

A little disappointed after the install. They don't look that much different.
I need to take her out for a night ride to see if these bulbs are better.

    nice work!

Great job on the pics! I wish you had posted that a month ago -- I couldn't find any pics or good explanations when I did mine, so it took me over an hour and lots of swearing to do the first bulb. Pretty hard to see what's going on with your hand and the fairing blocking the view. Second bulb only took 15 min. start to finish and was waaaaay less stressful.

Same here. Took me a while to do the first bulb.
One of my mistakes was to remove the clip holding the bulb.
I later realized that you don't need to do that.

It also took me a while to sit the new bulb. At first, it felt too loose
    and it was moving sideways.

I took her for a night ride and visibility improved a bit.

I should have gone with the Piaas.
