I tried installing a dual headlight modulator from comagination on my 06 Interceptor everything went pretty smoothly however, when I tested it it worked fine the high beams modulated and the left low beam stayed on and the right low beam wasn't working...I checked the right bulb and it worked fine so I know it's not the bulb. I know before I installed the kit when I turned on my high beams the low beams stayed on also I assume they are supopose to ? When I turn the modulator off only the left low beam stays on...Seems I can get the right low beam working at all. Any Input would be greatly appreciated.
i have yet to install a headlight modulator on my 04 vfr. I did have one on my 06 honda 599, it worked great. Yes you are correct, ALL 4 lights will be on together when you turn on the high beams. Sounds like the right low beam wire got cut or messed with in the process. I'd retrace your steps and double check everything. As I said, I haven't messed with my headlights. So can't help there. Well I finally got the Right headlight working...It seems it was a bad connection..Must have knocked it loose doing the install of the modulator....Any electric type farkle never seems to go smooth for me...
Ya, I had a little trouble the first time I put mine in too. Didn't get it grounded right. Now anytime I do wiring, just double check and tug on the wires in the crimps, make sure they're tight. Good to hear you found the issue, and all works good. The modulator is my next step on my vfr. Just installed some heated grips, help take the edge off at night or on long trips.
