Hello all! First question post here.
Picked up a new to me vfr and have a few things I need to button up. I found a clip laying randomly behind my right fairing and finally figured out what it was after seeing a bright light shining inside my front fairing.
Anyhow, my lamp come out of the housing because there is nothing to hold it in, and realized that is where the clip originated, from a video I watched in how to secure them.
Screw was still in the housing so I put it all back together and it holds now.
I checked the left side and no clip or screw to be found.
Does anyone know where to find this kind of hardware?
I searched the parts fischs and could not see them listed.
I need a left side clip and screw that lets it hinge.
    Thanks in advance

You can check the parts fiche here and see if they sell them piecemeal but you might have to buy the light assembly. https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/honda/motorcycle/2009/vfr800-a-interceptor/headlight

I have a spare light assembly in my garage but not sure if it’s the left or right one. I can check tomorrow and if it’s the left one, you’re welcome to the part you need, just cover shipping, provided I have what you need of course. I got this from someone cleaning out their garage so I’m not sure which side I have exactly, just know it’s a light assembly for a 6 Gen VFR.

It appears it’s the only way to find them, buying the whole assembly.

I would def accept that offer. Honestly, I don’t see why another right hand wouldn’t be able to work. Seems like it would work the same, just upside down.
I will try to swap it over to the other side in the morn to see it transfers ok then get back with you.
    Thank you very much!

OOTV, looks like they are the same.I am willing to give you shipping and more if you are still up for sending the clip, granted you have one.

Let me go look. I know I have the headlight assembly and pretty sure the part you need is still there. Give me about a half hour and I’ll get back to you one way or or the other.
