Has my R/R been upgraded? (pics)

    Clearly the R/R side connector is newer than the wiring harness side connector, judging by how white the plastic is.
    Also, the wires appear to be much heavier gauge on the R/R side. I don't see much for identifying marks on the R/R.
    I was happy to see no sign of burning / melting in the connectors...

    What say the experts?

    Thanks for the response! For sure its been replaced, and I was hoping not by another OEM unit. I figured it was something better than OEM judging by wire size.

    Yes Looks like Definitely been changed since its upside down! Re-mount it right way and then you'll see its product numbers on the top!

    Solder those wires before you melt your RR or Stator. Those OEM connectors are pure shite.

    You will be able to tell what type (Shunt / MOSFET) of RR you have by the #'s on the heatsink.

    FH is mosfet unit, robust upgrade to the stock crap, which starts with SH, 90% on this one.
