I'm trying to think of little touches to make my bike unique and was wondering if anyone has tried some colored/anodized lug nuts whether they're aftermarket or the stock ones or even made/found a little "H" center cap? Pics?

I painted just the tops of the stock lug nuts on my '03 VFR800,and installed a Red aluminum STM frame plug in the opening in the rear wheel rim. Instead of relying on the expansion plug system that the STM frame plug uses to secure itself,I had my buddy Pez machine a stepped puck that slides neatly into the backside of the rear wheel rim then simply screwed just the anodized top portion of the STM frame plug into it. It's a fairly cheap and simple mod that adds just a little bit more detail to the rear wheel. If need be Scotty,I can remove the rear wheel to show you what that puck looks like.

I replaced mine with McGuard Tuf Nuts, they look better and won't rust like the factory nuts.

That's pretty tight, I looked into doing a similar piece, but then needed the opening for the rear stand........

Has anyone tried the new fringed grips that come in flourescent colors with the built in UV LED. I hear they just plug right in and are real attention getters.
