I have a Garmin SP 2610. I have a ram mount mounted on the front tank bolts.

There should be pics in my gallery.

Davidvfr is right. RAM mount your TomTom Rider to the front tank bolts. Here are RAM part numbers for the three RAM components you need: (1) The base part RAM-B-231LU; (2) RAM's Rider-specific bracket RAM-HOC-TO2U; and, (3) one of three RAM stems (short, standard or long). I first used RAM's standard 3" stem that positioned the Rider at the bottom of my tach. Later I installed Convertibars and found that the more upright seating postion required me to glance down to see the Rider. I switched to RAM's longer stem (5-and-1/2" I think) to raise the Rider back up into my field of vision at the bottom of the tach.

The stock tank bolts are just long enough. Be sure you put the washers between the RAM base and the rubber tank grommets. Otherwise you'll crush the grommets (making the base unstable). Mine is rock-solid. No vibration. I did attach a tether from the triple clamp to the Rider "just in case." I can't imagine it will ever fall off.

RAM also makes brackets for Garmin and other GPS models. The base and stem will be the same whether you go with the TomTom Rider or something else. I'm delighted with my Rider.

Thanks Florida - that seems settled then - I think Ram have a distributor over here, I will get the bits, fit them and post a report!

    Thanks
