Hello everybody! I need a more upright position for my everyday commuting in heavy traffic. After a little search I am between Helibars and Gilles Variobars. Does anyone has used any of those? Thanks a lot1

I'm also considering bar risers. I'm between Gen Mars & Helis, and would love to hear from the crowd on the pros & cons. I understand the Gen Mars are an easy install, not requiring longer cables etc. I more interested in how they affect the ride. Do Gen Mars make enough of a difference? Do Helis make too much of a difference & take away from steering ability?

I have heli bars and I am able to sit nearly upright if I scoot up to the tank. The steering remains pretty neutral and the bars don't seem to slow me down any. They take a little while to get used to but after a few miles, you don't even think anything about them. The lines are just barely long enough to work with them, but they do work and the front still turns no probs. They look funny to me, though. You don't really notice that either when your riding and your wrists dont hurt.
