I believe that H4 is the Euro vs and 9003 is the DOT version. Same bulbs.

    Still confused about the following...

To add H4 piaa bulbs to a 4th gen...
Do I need an adapter? if not, do I still need to bend something on the bulb or the housing?

    Help! :frown:

If it's the same as the 5th gen, no adapter is needed, but you do need to bend one of the tabs. It'll be obvious when you do it. Small needle-nose pliers will do the job just fine.

If you want an adapter, you can buy them off of eBay, but they still require the tab to be bent, since it's not really an adapter, just a spacer.
