The front brake master cylinder on my 96 feels crunchy. Its difficult to brake smoothly.
    The bike has 19K miles
I have it off the bike. Is is possible to rebuild it or should it be replaced?
Has anyone experienced a similar problem?

    Please advise.

    Thanks,

    BikerMike

You should be able to rebuild it. Honda should have a rebuild kit available. Compare the cost of rebuilding versus replacement. I would think the rebuild kit to be less expensive.
Mello dude has a front master cyclinder for sale. You can see it here: Mello dudes master cyclinder for sale.

His is a newer model than yuor, but I think itmight still work.
