    Friend's wedding is this weekend and he has some friends coming in from the UK early. Gonna do a ride (I have this whole.week off).

    So.... better get the Guest Bike ready. Pulled it out, primed the pump/carbs.... Gas waterfall!!

    Man, I swear I went thru these carbs before my Canada trip... nope.

    Took an hour start to finish (minus the lowers back on... wanted to give a bath). Float bowl, fuel, vent orings, bench synch. And I did it outside on the side walk next to the shop on the outdoor work bench.

    Runs perfect. New tabs. Ready to rock.

    First you have Open Garage night, and now I hear you have a Guest Bike. I booked my flight, I'll be with you on Tuesday!

    I booked your place out for May next year. :)

    I think that is a great idea for visitor riders. You are da man.

    Man, takes me a lot longer than a hour.
    Those connecting fuel tubes are fragile. I guess leaving the intake plenum attached helps prevent stressing the tubes ?
    Do you recall size of the vent orings ?

    Beautiful bike! Very impressive to be able to rebuild your carbs that quickly and do such a good job.

    I don't have the skill set to do so......

    I could probably do it in an 2 hours if they were the same V4 carbs, but so far I have rebuilt one set of each;

    vf500
    Vfr750 - UK
    Vfr700
    Vfr400- UK

    still waiting on 400 parts to put it back. None are exactly the same. Just when I think it will be easy I see new parts! Hahaha
