Hello all! I recently acquired a new 2006 VFR and I am glad to see a great deal of online support for such a wonderful bike. I have wanted one since 2003 and now that I can finally afford one I decided to pull the trigger. Believe it or not, this is my first street bike. I have some limited experience with off road bikes and felt comfortable enough on board to go ahead and spend this kind of money on a road bike. I'm active duty Air Force and currently serving out my last year of recruiting duty in Lewisville Texas. I'm finding already that this bike suits my needs perfectly. Comfortable, fast and good looking. I wish first dates went that well! I'm looking forward to gleaning as much knowledge from the comunity as possible and contributing wherever possible.
Welcome to the group and congrats on getting a bike you have wanted for a while. Like Scorpio says, there is a lot of good info here. UT if you can't find something, just ask and someone will have, find, or guide you to an answer
