Returning to riding after moving to Michigan from California 10 years ago. My wife bought me a brand new 2007 VFR800 with the 25th anniversary colors. I have always loved this bike since I rode two up at Willow Springs raceway with Reggie Pridmore back in 1992.

Just finished putting on the fender eliminator this morning.

    Miss the canyons of California.

    Bruce

Out in Kalamazoo. When you say Northern do you mean UP or just north half? Know any good roads up there?

Cheboygan County senor. No Uper here! Lots of fun road up there. I am sure that you know of M119. Probably hands down the best road (used to be anyways) on the LP. Take M119 from Mackinaw (or do this in reverse since you are coming from the 'zoo), thru Harbor Springs, then 31 along the coast thru Petoskey, down thru Charlevoix, and Traverse City. Then take 22 around the LeeLanau Penisula. Then thru sleeping bear dunes, it turns to 115....take this straight over to 131 Freeway, and you are home free.
