I bought an '83 vf750f in '84 with 300 miles on it. It is a known legend. I slid it across the road and trashed the right pipe. Aftermarket pipe was cheaper and lighter so I changed the pipe. Otherwise, stock. 1986 came along and I was used to being in the lead so I bought the vfr750. Awesome low end torque. Totally stock. '83 was pickled for storage in '90. '86 was pickled in '02. The are sitting in the garage waiting to be resurrected. My plan is to repair and sell by spring. ray: So now i have found this wellspring of information and things are looking good.
