Like the title says.... New to the site... just looking for insight... share tips.... This bike is a rare one, in the area that I live and ride... I've never seen one...

I ride often... not just fair weather....

Looking to keep this bike on the road a while.... Any maintenance or upgrade/ mod. info would be great

Welcome, put your bike info in your profile so it shows up when you post. How many miles on your 4th gen? These bikes require little maintenance really. In fact, most skip the first valve adjustment(myself included) cause its a waste of time. Use the search function if you have repair and mod questions as there are a bunch of threads floating around here with good info.

    Great choice !!

The '94-'97 series of VFR Gen 4s were the best -developed, best- balanced between engine and weight, less troublesome than the newer, overly complex bikes, much easier to work on, more reliable, with fewer things to go wrong....imo, anyway, a debatable issue 4 sure.

U got some fine twisty roads in Brown county. The most important thing to keep maintained on ANY bike is the best QUALITY and NEWEST TIRES you can afford, and using cheap stuff on a cruiser might be passible, but never on a sporty bike. Riding these bikes proppaly needs premium traction less than high-mileage tires unless you tour. Sometimes you inadvertantly get into situations where bad equipment just isn't good enough, and that shouldn't be your tires.
