    Hey all,
I was just given a 1984 VR700 by one of my Lodge buddies. He has about 10 bikes in his yard and garage and, minus the tank, seat, and some weathering, is in pretty great shape. I've had a lot of bikes (my last was an '03 Kawasaki 1500 Vulcan), so I'm excited about rebuilding an older one.

Hope to upgrade some of the components, and will probably go with a naked front end and paint. Any suggestions are welcome, and I look forward to chatting with you all.

    Thanks!

Welcome to the site! Must be a great friend to give you a VFR (as you will see they are very prized possessions here.... with the exception of one angry owner that showed up!)
