Hi all , I've been using this page to troubleshoot my ride for a while , figure it's time to introduce myself.
I've been rebuilding an 85 vf750f I picked up really cheap and disassembled for easy transport! Found a thread for pretty much every roadblock I hit , with great tips and warnings that allowed me to avoid severe fuckups.
Last bike I owned ( before wife got knocked up ) was my beloved 73 Suzuki gs750 ..the waterbuffallo .
So lots of the tech on an 85 superbike was new to me .
Well, thanks to the bunch here and some great utube vids , I've been screaming this beast around the mountains for the last two months , getting home with shit eating grin every time !
Since the rainy season started here , I've stripped it down again in order to do the cosmetics. Just finished sanding the black spray job some inbred applied , am repainting it factory colours ( white, red, blue stripe ) and then maybe some decals.
Can't wait to ride this sweet thing in it's original beauty !
Will post pics once it's back together.

Welcome to The World! I think some before and after photos along with posting your refresh will be a good way to payback the forum. ;)

Ok, here's the bike after assembly / rebuild and spending a few weekends getting running right.
The grinning idiot is me , I'd taken it down some empty country roads and wound it all the way up .... an hour later I still couldn't stop grinning like a disturbed chimp FB_IMG_1571456224812.jpg
