Im thinking of mounting a GPS on my 01. Anyone got any suggestions on a decent unit and what type of mount ? Im looking at around $500 to spend tops. And as far as the mount I already have a 12volt ass. plug in my head tube.
For the mount, I use a stem stand. Check it out at www.techmounts.com. Enter your bike info and it will go right to your application. I use an older Lowrance unit but there are much better, more compact new ones out ther.
Those Tom Tom's are real nice that I looked at. May be a little bigger than what you want. $450 at Best buy was the starting price. Maybe cheaper elsewhere. I would give them a look though.
