Lot's of information out there on this one. I have a GArmin Zumo 550 on my 2005. I went with the Zumo due to the size of the screen for reading while riding and also the size of the buttons and touch screen which are easy to use while riding as well. Also, it's waterproof and has bluetooth. I use it all the time on the bike. I have a TechMount stem mount holder to attach it to the bike. Here is a picture of it from the Archive.

Its not water proof so keep it away from moister .... For a cheap waterproof model the Quest 2 is a good choice. Brian

I run a Garmin C550 and it works well. The Zumo is definately a better unit on the bike (waterproof and has buttons) but I'm very happy. I live in a dry climate and have no issues operating via touchscreen with gloves on.

The MP3 player built in is what I really enjoy. I have a couple of 8 GB cards that I swap in while riding.
