Got suspended today :(

I work in extremely high pressure environment and got suspended today.One more "violation" and I'll be another faceless statistic.
I am extremely down now...

Complain against me was unjust and came from biased individual but in this environment that I work every complain is taken seriously irregardless if you were at fault or not.
I am very upset and depressed now.I could not enjoy my ride home....amongst bumper to bumper traffic...

 

That sucks. What kind of work and what was the violation if you don't mind me asking? BTW, nice painting on your avatar.

 

Sorry to hear that. I've always taken my jobs very seriously and when I was falsely accused of something it really irritated me. Not sure what I would do if I was actually suspended.

 

It doesn't seem to matter where you work, there's always at least one a**hole who will try to f*ck you over. Be patient. They will get theirs.

I am an artist and that's my work.
I am a server in high end hotel....now you get the picture.:frown:
I have a degree in Pro Engineer industrial design but could not find job doing that so I am working as a server.
I take it seriously but the environment is intense.Hard to please everyone but that's the point here there is no room for any complain valid or not.
People don't realize that when you complain about a person without real reasons you create havoc for that person.

 

I got pulled into one of those "HR meetings" a couple years ago over a birthday card I had on display. The card displayed a couple dogs and they were drinking beer, really nothing more than that. Offended somebody apparently, logged a complaint, etc. I come out the bad guy since that complaint is still in my personal file. Like you said Knife, a$$holes everywhere.

Sucks. Serving is pretty high pressure when it's at an up-scale place. Hope everything works out ok.

Bummer. Well, keep your head up. Your managers have their own job to do, and if they're not suspending people or otherwise cracking skulls, complaints look bad on them - valid or not. The crap always flows downhill, so don't take it personally.

Guys thanks for support.I am just a regular guy trying to feed my family,pay mortgage etc.
I got suspended for trifle reason and not worth mentioning since internet is open....

I will post few of my works for you guys.Thank you and God bless coming from an atheist....Why do people remember God in dark hours....

 

is that a painting of your bf????? find it hard to believe you were reading the bible and someone just started complaining on you...... so the pro engineer degree means you design trashcans?? not sure on that one but hang in there it will all be fine.....:wink:and there are plenty of low end hotels waiting for new responsible adults such as yourself...:thumbsup::thumbsup:
