Thought I'd put up a few pics and a short report of Stacey's new Barracuda GP-Evo exhaust, I'm really happy with it so far :triumphant:

It's one of very few options that meets all of Germany's requirements for road-legal use, and the fit & finish are pretty much perfect (typical German-made precision). The thing fits every bit as well as the Honda unit does, doesn't even use a graphite ring and doesn't leak the smallest bit that I can see/smell. I coughed up the extra chuck of money for the all black option, just cuz it looks awesome.

The sound, in my opinion, is wonderful. It adds a ton of bass and a nice grumble to the sound of the cams, without being raspy or that common tone of 'hey look at me' loud.

There's a notable increase in low-end grunt, too, it really does let the engine breathe more freely. There may be an increase at the high end, too, but it may also have just been me being throttle-happy during the first ride of the year

Enough rambling for now, shiny side up, everyone! :cool-new:

Well the scratch and sniff is broken on my computer. You ought to post up a little video so we can hear it. Never heard that one before.

More curious as to what part of Duetchland your in, if I could read the license tages in the background, and if the wife was'nt asleep sawing toothpicks I would ask her. Those sidewalk stones do look familar for sure. Nice looking bike and cool looking pipe, I used to have a neighbor named Stacey, don't ask why I have to remember her name, she was a bitch too :pound: sure your bike treats you better :pound: Cheers

I'm in Frankfurt, and spring has taken it's sweet damned time getting here this year.

One requirement for the pipe was that it had to be a low-mount, cuz of the side bags. Another manufacturer (BOS) here makes a beautiful-sounding high-mount system that's also road-legal, but alas it wasn't meant to be.

I'll make a couple videos, maybe I can capture the sound.
