Ok, time to do some networking. You know, you're only as good as who you know, right. Well in that seems as though there's a deep en-beaded hic up in my google account, which I've had for years. It hasn't really bugged me until a process of up loading videos just how bad it is, Google owns You tube Doh!!.. so after a bit, all weekend for support for the fix to no avail, I'm looking for a back door. Any one of the Ca. guys that run around their neighborhood here know a Google tech? it's looking pretty simple, and that's what's frustrating, just going to take them to fix it.
First you need to verify it's your account or something Google left behind on your computer. Have you tried a different computer, one that hasn't logged onto you account before? If problem persists on both computers, then their is a problem with you account. Not a big Google fan or user, but was in the IT biz for 20 years.
Yep, I sure did first it was different browsers and cache cleaning, then that went other machines, so much so even went outa house, so, yea it's in how google sets things up that I can't touch, and that being I've found some discrepancies too. so it's going to take someone on the inside to either let me in as it should be, or they make it right from the get go. I'd hate to think what if this was more serious, SMH they really need a better way for getting help other than me driving there. I have it nailed down to a admin permission thing. and thats the rub, I'm the Admin and google won't let me do shit.
I hate computers. But I keep getting new ones. I'll stop once they hit the ignition switch on the crematorium furnace. I don't have a camera where I would be posting up on you tube. I have only posted a very short video direct to this forum a long time ago.
Maybe start a whole new account? Change your name slightly, use the middle one or something? Google it. LOL
I experienced issues with YouTube video uploading and went around the problem by opening a Vimeo account. Too many restrictions and controls with YouTube. I will usually try something once, if it takes more than 30 minutes of my time, I move on to something that works. Too many options these days to be dealing with poorly designed and bothersome tools.
I don't like posting comments like this but I absolutely hate Google, Apple and ANY other monopoly or anything that even resembles a monopoly. They feel compelled to "get into my life" every way they can dream up and it's for their benefit, not mine, let's not kid ourselves. Companies like this and others have gotten too big and the only way they can satisfy shareholders is to become more intrusive and develop products that really aren't needed and try to become "necessary" in people's lives. I remember decades ago when the myriad of laws to prevent monopolies were enforced vigorously. Today, monopolies seem to be encouraged. Too much money seems to corrupt stronger than drugs. I'm not a hater and I believe in strong business competition. I don't believe in a company being so big they can just stomp out the competition then get away with crap for service and a total lack of customer care. The demise of newspapers is the best example of what a lack of customer service can do. They're going away and they earned that. I cleaned and lubed my chain recently. That's what it has to do with VFR's (interceptors?)......
No comparison between Apple & Google, Google entire business was built on gathering data on everybody and everything, highly intrusive. Apple goes to great lenght to protect personal data, even to point of telling the FBI to take a hike.
I agree with Allyance, though the bit about Apple making products you didnt know you needed is too true. But hey, that's capitalism.
I love my Apple watch, but I don't need it! (Full disclosure, I am an Apple stockholder) I use duckduckgo.com as my search engine most of the time because it doesn't track your searches.
SMH, the irony in this is I use Vimeo. Have Been for the last 8 years, way better IMO, way more user friendly, it's my go to for this sorta thing. But this time around this latest video I have takes more space, Vimeo wants a $99 per year up grade to handle this. which really isn't outa line if i was doing a lot of this size videos all the time, but me being a tight wad, figure what they hay, I'll put it on You tube, what a joke this turns out to be. Google has a double standard here, besides a true lack of support. They say I need to have my admin set it straight, Ha I'm the admin. Then finally through looking for some hoops I find a way to get in touch where you create a work order of sort with a pin # Ha again, you have to be the admin to get the pin, that's the problem the action needed to solve this takes an admin, I'M THE ADMIN!!! but not allowed &^%$! yet it's documented I'm the admin. SMH. Guess I'll resize the video, this is plain BS. I would hate to see this being more serous. I know if I was only an hour away I'd knock on there door. Weird weird weird. Thanks guys for listening. Time for a ride on the VFR. Still if any one knows a Google tech, throw em my way..
I agree with VFR4Lee, get a free outlook mail account and register again. I don't think IP address matters. Use the new account for porn and all the spam will end up there
