good VFR links, threads, products, etc.

Hello, as some of you know. I picked up an '86 VFR700F as my first bike a few weeks ago. It is totally stock and very '80's as I like to say. I'm looking for good products, links, threads on this forum and others, and anything else that has to do with modifying or updating this generation bike. I know very little about these bikes and bikes in general. I know I'd like to remove the rear fender. Is there a kit or is this kind of a cut it yourself deal? With a little bit of looking, there isn't much out there for exhaust. Anything that is there is frightfully expensive. Please post whatever you've got. Thanks!
