good roads,places to see in....

I think the wife and i have set out to travel those areas on our trip this year.
so whats the good spots?

hoblick, there's a couple of pretty neat places in CT. There's Mystic. There they've got the Aquarium, and Mystic Seaport. The aquarium is like any other, kinda small, but ok. The Seaport is cool if you like tall ships and history. There is also the Devils Hopyard if you like to get out, hike, and camp. There's Gilette's Castle, which is near Devils Hopyard. It was the home of William Gillette who played Sherlock Holmes on Broadway. There's also the Submarine Force Museum and Historic Ship Nautilus in Groton. And, if you're in the mood for some fun and excitement, we've also got 2 casino's, Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods. Both of which offer free shows, and some of the acts are actually pretty good. And, there's always something going on up in Hartford. It's not backroads, but it's a nice place to get away. I've added links to everything that I've mentioned. Hopefully it helps with the planning. hoblick, another place that I forgot the first time around is Essex, CT. It's got the Steam Train and Boat ride. They do dinner cruises, murder mystery cruises, and then just a plain day thing. Here's the link.

Rhode Island--There is Newport some nice views,,,there is Block Island -you will need to take the ferry...

Massachusetts--The Cape Marthas Vineyard There is Gillette Stadium if you are into sports Boston museum of science..
