I'd try for $5000-5200. 3700 miles is barely past break in period and you have all the bells and whistles on it already.

that is a bit too high for me...depends on where you live too. in my area the kbb RETAIL is $4950, trade is $3405. and for a 7 year old bike only to have 3700 miles on it means it wasn't used much at all. that isn't good either. unless he unpluged the speedocable and the miles aren't true. i would offer mid 4000's if the bike is true to the word.

$5500 is a very reasonable price considering you are getting about $2000 worth of add-ons including the highly desirable Laser pipes which can sometime be hard to obtain. My advise is that if you like the bike after seeing it make a reasonable offer that is fair for both you and the seller without coming off as being insulting. If you can get the bike for a few hundred less than what he is asking I would consider it to be an even better deal but I wouldn't walk away if you had to pay full price. A few years ago I went to look at a nice bike that was already priced very good and I still decided to act like a greedy fool and started lowballing. Instead of countering my ridiculously low offer the seller informed me that the bike wasn't for sale any more and closed the garage and asked me to leave.

+1 with Rollin. Would always be great to find the "deal" but it is riding season and you may be kicking yourself in a month for missing out on a month of riding. I say jump on it and go have some fun in the sun.

I would ask the seller if they're willing to negotiate the price before you start offering a lower number. If they say that their pretty firm then you'll know what to offer. If they're willing to hear what you'll offer go in at no less than $5000 or else you'll probably insult the seller and end up looking at the outside of a garage door like Rollin. :pound: If you end up paying $5500 you're still getting a good deal especially with all the extras. Good luck!
