So today was a little depressing I said goodbye to an old friend one that had helped me see the greater side of life, and maintain a "sane" outlook on life and no matter how angry I got she didn't ask why or why not just there for me. may her demise benefit others. On the upside of this a new old friend breathes life once more. thats right, the Suzuki became the means to get new carbs for the VFR. picked them up today installed them on the bike primed them and she fired right up and idled a bit until the juice of life ran out. the freakin VFR is running WOOO HOOO.

the suzki was a hard thing for me to part with, it did have alot of sentimental value as it was my G/F late brother in laws, I got it running two days after we elected to have the plug pulled on him after a hit and run accident up north 2 years ago. a little tweaking and the VFR rides again...

Awesome news on the VFR. Think of the Suzuki as an organ donor. It it gave of itself to ensure the VFR would live. In a way, a part of the Suzuki is in the VFR.
Ride on, old Suzuki, ride on.

    Hi,
I think it is a good thing to save a piece of an old bike and transplant it on our actual bike. I still have my old benelli 654 tool kit : just some tools and some sovenirs. Useful also for my VFR.
    Lamps !
    Carmine.

Congrats on getting the ole Viffer running again. As has been said, the Zuke lives on.
