    Hi Guys,
Been lurking for a while and found a real nice bike and am thinking about buying and wanted some help regarding a fair price.

The bike is a 2010 standard shift, 8k miles, new tires, bone stock and in very very nice condition. It's a two owner bike and has maintenance records. I think the bottom line number is $6k. Can I do better or is this a nice deal. Thanks in advance.

That would be the least expensive one I have seen from monitoring Craigslist and Cycle Trader. One just disappeared in Tennessee, it had 34,000 miles, and the price dropped until it reached $6300. Then it was gone.

I would say do your diligence on the inspection to make sure nothing was covered up. If so, jump on it, do not wait.

I bought a 1999 for $3300. A refresh of the bike including a power commander has taken me over $6,000, partially because I paid a mechanic to do it but still. That makes a five year old 1200, which has not even had the time for old fluids to cause problems, to be a great deal.

    I'm wondering why a 2010 with 8k miles already had 2 owners?.
