Hello People, Been looking for a place like this..Bought my 87 f2 about 4 months ago, Having a blast. But running into a few problems.Bike fires up great but Idles rough/low with choke off. Going to try tune up and carb check and see if that helps. Place I'm stuck is front brakes, They stick after use to the point that you have to use a screw driver to release. I've found a set on e-bay but they are off an 86, Will these work or do I need 87's?? Any info will be very helpful. Thank you..

welcome. as far as the brakes, I think you'd prob be better rebuilding them as it's pretty cheap at least acc to other guys on here. I wish I could remember where it is, but I recall someone explaining how to do it with a kit from ebay for under $20. I'll keep an eye out for it for ya. The search function will give 1000 results one of which might be what you need.

Front brakes - have they received any attention since you bought the bike? Try flushing out the old fluid and replace with fresh DOT 4. If they continue to stick, you could have one of 2 issues.
Corrosion in the calipers not allowing the pads to retract - disassembly and a good cleaning of the calipers and rebuild kits will fix that.
Blockage in the return port in the master cylinder - if both front brakes won't release this is probably the issue. Again, disassembly and a good cleaning and a rebuild kit for the master cylinder will fix that.
