I'm hoping someone out there has some installation pics of GIVI monokey setup for my 1990 or 3rd Generation VFR. Specifically GIVI F229 Monokey top case rack. I'm hoping to fabricate something out of some parts I have. I bought the E460 topcase and have the base plate along with the two pieces that the base plate is attached with. The rest of the parts seem to be useless to me. HELP. I've posted about this in the past but the plans have changed. Picture of the parts I have is attached. Thank you in advance.

my rack and brackets were for a 5th gen. I used the 5th gen lower brackets but had to fabricate my own uppers. Don't know that I took pictures of them. Here are some cruddy pics of it installed.

Thank you for the pics, curious if you used the bolts for the grab handles to anchor it TinkerinWstuff? I see that the passenger peg is an anchor point. Curious which points should be used. Thanks in advance for your advice. I'm riding cross country in August, I'll be through your neck of the woods. Getting it ready for the long haul.

I used the bolts from the grab handles on top. I replaced the pins in the passenger footpegs with longer pins from the hardware store.

I swore I had pics of the brackets but I can't find it. Will try to remember to snap more.

So, after all of my searching, I have located GIVI F229 the mounting hardware for my top case, designed for my 3rd gen. It's basically unobtanium but I've found it. Twisted throttle had it, which by the way has excellent service. Happy camper. Plus my vario touring windscreen and Admore lighting coming tomorrow.

I'll get some pics once I install the top case. Wind screen is nice. I typed the wrong thing...it's an MRA touring wind screen, not the vario. Wish I got the vario. Maybe later in the year.
