I've looked around somewhat on the site about get-together events, am not coming up with anything. Do you guys have these now and again for the purpose(s) of imbibing potent beverages, partaking of fine cuisine, narrating partially truthful accounts of your adventures, experience & abilities, expounding on the multiple virtues of YOUR bike as compared to everyone else's substandard scrap metal, and maybe even do some riding?

Thanks, looks like a good time judging from the video......Unfortunately, IN is not that closeby. I'm not sure that the old VF, or my old body for that matter, would hold up for the trip.

Kind of a non-starter for the 1st Gen crowd unless they live less than a few hours away or throw the bike on a trailer/truck, lol.

The bast way to get things started is to start it yourself.
You pick the time and place. Don't wait for everyone else to have a say, because it gets way messy that way.
The first one may be small, but the more folks that hear of how great of a time they missed, the more will show up the next time.
The Cali party got pretty big because Reg and Terri are awesome hosts, there are great roads all around their house, and lots of people who are not afraid of traveling to get there.
It is possible to do that other places.
