I've been using these on my 03' for the last four years and like them very much. They make the bike more comfortable on long rides, look good, are guick and easy to install, and cost alot less than Heli-Bars. After the first year the center caps started to corrode. I tried to keep them looking good using fine grain auto body paper but they got a little worse each year. I called GenMar to see if they sold replacements. They told me that they had new caps that were clear powder coated and would not rust. They shipped me a pair at NO CHARGE. I Love These Guys. If you are having this problem, give them a call.

Great I emailed them and got:

    Hi Brian,
We do have the caps that are clear powder coated. We will be glad to replace yours for free. Would you like for us to ship them to the address you have provided?
    Thank you,
    Scott-GenMar

I have a set of your risers for about a 2 years. Im in need of the top caps. They original ones are pitted and some rust is started. Do you sell these seperately? I was told you may have an updated design. Thanks Brian

Hi these things seem interesting but how much better can the ride be with handle bars just 3/4'' higher?

Very very easy, remove little wire ring thingies(one each side), undue two bolts (one each side), lift off one clip on, place riser on triple tree, put clip on back down, repeat other side, re-install bolts (preferably with a torque wrench), done.
Oh, install covers if desired. Snap-in place. I leave them off, don't look right to me.

    no picture handy
you really wouldn't notice them unless you are looking for them.
