    1. If the float chambers are full and the valves are closed, what happens to the pressure build up in the line coming from the fuel pump?
    2. What is the function of the diaphragm with the needle? and what causes it to move, the increase in air coming in?
    3. What is the function of the pilot screw? I hear these are supposed to be factory sealed or cemented but mine are not and turn with ease. I have my carbs disassembled and want to take these out to clean in there as well..

    4. Does anyone know how many turns is standard on the pilot screws of a 1986 vfr700f?

P.S. any good ways to bench test the float valves and seats?

    Thanks ahead of time
