gen 3 to gen 4 compatible parts

    are the charging systems the same? is the cdi and ignition the same? i found a gen 3 49 state donner bike and im going to do a carb and cam swap and was curious if my gen 4 would see gains from the 49 state cdi/ignition also.. thanks!
