   quick note for you K&N-303 users (love them due to pre-lubed gasket and lug which allows easy removal w/o a filter wrench), Amazon.com has them on sale for $5.37 (I bought 10). They are usually $11-12, so this is a steal!!

   After perusing the K&N website, it seems that just about every Honda sportbike made after 1990 used the the oil filter. The first bike to use this filter was the 88 Hawk GT. Shortly thereafter, Honda switched to the universal filter. Seems like a pretty logical decision.
