GEN 1 Idle Adjust with no Guages

    Setting idle speed with no tac? PO stripped this bike of all its guages.

    Now I got another question. Sync first then idle adjust or idle adjust then sync? Thanks

    It doesn't matter really as long as the motor is about 900-1200 rpms. Once you start the sync you will have to reset idle back down or up to 11/1200 rpms once each carb is adjusted.

    First off do the pilot screw adjustment then sync carbs.

    Can I just set the pilot screws to the setting the manual says 2 1/2 turns out and leave em there or is there something else I have to do?
