I have just ordered some new carb boots for my 85 VF705F. I have come across a thread about the VF500 changing boot size in 85. Does anybody know if this applies to the 750 as well or have the carb boots always been the same size for all Gen 1 750s?

They are the same 83-85, 700-750.

I got this for my '85 vf700f: Silicone Boot

I got the 1.5 " x 2' long tube and cut them to about 1" lengths-you have enough left over to do about 3 more bikes! Carbs go on so easily too.

Thanks for the info everyone. Inb001, thats a really great idea you have. If I hadnt ordered my boots yesterday I would definatly gone with your idea. Cheaper and like you say - easier to deal with.
