When idling in neutral and when I let the clutch out I hear a sort of real low grinding noise. Maybe more like a low tone rumbling or something. As soon as I pull the clutch in it goes completely away. Is this normal?

I hear the same thing. I assume it is normal, but someone who knows more can say for sure.

Its called "clutch chatter" by name and is very common on many different types of bikes. Some do it worse than others.

Ok. Thanks. Its kinda funny but I just changed the oil and put in $10 a quart Mobil 1 fully synthetic 4T Racing oil. I had not noticed the noise before with the old crap in there. Could that oil make my bike make that noise? Maybe I should pour the old junk back in.

Now that you mention that. I hear mine more with Amsoil than I did with Honda oil. It sure feels smoother with the Amsoil tho.

perfectly normal. no worries. listen to a Ducati w/ an open-dry clutch and you'll feel better about your own bike.
