   I have a 94 VFR 750 have only had it for 2 weeks and noticed that when taking off in 1st gear there is a distinct whine from the box, is this normal?
   
   Chain/sprockets new adj correctly plenty of oil etc... seems to be reasonably quiet in all other gears however road noise etc.. might be making it difficult to hear.

   Older VFR's are known to have ''clunky'' Gearboxes.
