G'day everyone, just thought I'd introduce myself and say hello.
I've just traded in my '08 GSXR 1000 (owned since January) for a silver '08 VFR800, basically the gixxer scared that hell out of me, it was just too fast and required too little effort to go fast, and I didn't like the way I rode every time I hopped on it, it just encouraged squid-like riding imo. The majority of my riding is commuting to and from work with the occasional ride on the weekend so the VFR seemed to be a smarter choice. I pick it up this Thursday, I cannot wait!

Just a quick question about running these bikes in, I know with the GSXR they said basically ride it normally, but just ensure you keep varying the revs and explore the entire rev range, does the VFR need to be run in this way also?

Also, I'd like to get a rack/bag for the bike and I'm considering a Ventura rack and bag, any thoughts/comments on their gear?

Anyway, I'll stop waffling on, look forward to learning from you all.

    Shane
