Hi Just recently bought 07 vfr800 in black. Already opened cans and taken out pipes (baffles) but left plates and sleeve with fibreglass in for a bit of back pressure. Not to loud and not quiet at all. Sounds like a v8 at low revs. Hoping this doesnt effect the bike running to lean or whatever. Well im travelling to Phillip Island this weekend with mates but not looking good as the weather is terrible. Im just wondering with myself and wife with luggage how far to go with setting preload on rear spring. Some threads i have read sugggest as far as it will turn (7) Seems over kill. The total weight would be 170kg max. We will be travelling on some really twisty roads with alot of straight highway k's too. If you have done this yourself some advice would be great!
