Welcome to the MadHouse Stu & Mrs Stu!:welcome:

When you get a chance please post up a photo or two of the VFR - as folks may start raggin on you until you do! (Reply, click "Insert Image" icon and follow prompts to select and upload an image from your computer).

We have a large band of VFR owners in Australia - so you may want to update your forum profile (Forum Actions + Edit profile) to include the specs of your bike and an approximate location - city/state is fine - so they appear automatically alongside all your posts and if you need help you may find someone living nearby is willing to swing by and offer advise - especially if you have a well stocked beer fridge:drink:!

    Take care

I love all VF / VFR / Interceptors, but the RWB is my personal favorite. As already stated, please post some pictures.

You are definitely in the right place. This has got to be one of the best forums out there with members that are friendly and helpful. Congratulations on the purchase and welcome.

I see some of you fellows have a PhotoGallery and in your signature it also says view my.. photo gallery, please how does this work ?? I shall attach a photo or 2 to this post , just so you can all see my rides :)

Having ridden the viffer for a few weeks now, both solo and 2 up, all i can say is , it is stable at speed and quite comfortable, slow speed when you almost come to a stop you notice the bike is very top heavy. Slow speed filtering and stuff the bike isnt wide but it is rather heavy for darting in and out of traffic. Im quite enjoying a grown up bike at the moment and 2 up with the givi luggage commuting is a breeze :)

Oh and the speedo is over reading speed by almost 10% i think... is this normal

Yes, it's crazy normal. When I first noticed it a buddy and I were riding 70 mph indicated and people were passing us like we were backing up. He ran a speed check on his GPS and we were about 8 mph slow. Now I run around at 80mph indicated and feel pretty comfortable.

oh. . .and you are quite correct. This IS the place for all things VFR.

    Hi Stu23,

Welcome. Firstly good name, can I assume you are a Stuart and if so is that your Christian or Surname? Where in SW Sydney are you? As mentioned earlier there are a number of Aussie VFR riders, with a fair number residing in Sydney and surrounds. I'm also in SW Sydney and will need to keep an eye open for each other.

PS I'm also a Stuart (surname).

Welcome Stu. This really is the place to be.

BTW. A few years ago Derstuka started a thread " What does your username mean" or something like that. Some entertaining reading.

Howdy Mate! Glad to make your acquaintance.

    Thread Randazzo was referring to...
