Well guys, I've had this bike for several years but I'm thinking maybe time for a new home. It's got 10k miles on it but hasn't been ridden since 1986. This is for sure the nicest R I've ever seen in person. Maybe a flaw or two in there but mostly I would say near mint. I thought about riding it some but I don't trust myself enough to risk something happening to one this nice.

I also have another parts bike with good engine that I would with it or separately.

Anyway, just wondering if there is anyone out there who might be interested in buying either of these It's hard to put a price on them but I'm up for negotiations. Shoot me an email or PM!

Is that your boy? If so he's gonna cry when you sell it! Maybe you should hang onto it for a while. It is only going to appreciate, probably batter than you 401K.

Both of my boys were out there. I don't think they get nearly as attached to material items like I do.....

Mr Barber's first bike in his museum was a VF 1000R, has a plaque on it telling about the bike. I bet he would buy it for a good price.

I've been loving the '84 MIniceptor I got this year, wouldn't mind taking the one hiding behind the big bike.
    Same color scheme.

That one is for sale too! It's also in really nice shape. It was in a barn for a long time so it is covered in an inch of dust. I thought it best to just leave it like that until I started on it....which also hasn't happened.

I'm in Minnesota anyway but am curious, mileage? and how pristine is the bodywork? Also noticed the tank is off.

Mentioned in the original post, 10k miles. Had 5k put on in 85 and another 5k in 86. I purchased from the original owner.

The tank is not off, that is how they are supposed to be. Bodywork is as pristine as it gets. Except for some dirt I can't really find a flaw.

Look at your second photo. Tank is off.
I have relatives in Mishawaka, so an excuse to drive down and pick it up is a possibility.
How much you want fr it?

Wish I lived in the US at times like this. That 1000R would be a perfect weekend bike.

I double checked and yes, it is just sitting on there. It was off to check the condition of underneath and I just set it back on.

You'll need to shoot me an email or PM and we can talk price.
