Hi folks, I'm curious: after riding in stop & go traffic which brings up the engine temp & the fan kicks in like it supposed to. These VFRs run hot but I was surprised how hot...Anyways I noticed unburnt gasoline smell, like there' s a leak. I did check if there's one but I don't see anything. The bike has 50k km & has an aftermarket M4 (don't know that brand) silencer & stock headers & mid pipe. The exhaust smells normal, no gas smell. It idles fine, no surges. Accelerates fine, no hesitation when the throttle is opened. In short it runs fine, except for that gasoline smell after being ridden in stop & go traffic. I don't notice that after a ride on the highway at higher speeds. Hope someone here have some kind of idea. I don't know any motorcyclist in my area so I can't ask. I'm planning on bringing it to the dealer this w-e...

2000 VFR800, 50k km, everything is stock except for that M4 muffler...

As a new 5th gen owner, I'm supposed to post some pics & I will get around to that soon, I hope...
