    Hi,
Not sure if anyone else ran across this problem but it seems almost impossible to get a stator cover gasket for my bike. Can't find it online or on eBay.

Dealer has it available as obsolete.

And while I'm on the subject, what other gaskets should I stock pile?

I have an extra set of engine covers so I will eventually try to get those powder coated with the same color and effect. I know they can can do wrinkle now... And there is one place here that boasts 1000 different colors. So hopefully I can find something close enough.

Anyway, any ideas on the gaskets?

Most auto parts stores will sell you like a 12" x 12" sheet of gasket material for not much. Most sell a variety of different types of gasket material so get the right one. Then, you can lay down old one and trace and cut out with exacto knife or something. Might be cheaper and faster than searching for one.

I have made several gaskets for older engines using a set like these.

Don't know if you have Harbor Freight in Canada, but handy to have.

If the mating surfaces are clean you could try Permatex in one of its varieties, not silicone goo.

Thanks everyone. I have a bunch of things to try. It's stupid that Honda would discontinue that gasket.

I guess the rubber valve cover gaskets are reusable?
